How to earn house points here at The Wizarding World | Harry Potter Fan Forums
Quite simply you're rewarded for participating in discussions and being an active member of TWW. Just like in the books and films each member of their respective house will earn house points.
 

 
House Points for your chosen Hogwarts house:

The House Cup is a yearly award at Hogwarts (TWWForums). It is given at the end of the school year to the House with the most House points. Points are given to Houses by teachers and prefects throughout the year for various things including answering questions correctly and doing good deeds.
 
Points can be taken away for things such as misbehaving or rule-breaking. Giant and enchanted hourglasses in the entrance hall keep track of the House Points. The hourglasses are filled with different jewels for each house - Gryffindor's are rubies, Ravenclaw's sapphires, Slytherin's emeralds and Hufflepuff's diamonds.

The Points System for TWWForums
New students signup ONLY = 5 Points
  Points will ONLY be awarded to Students that have been sorted into their Hogwarts house.
The topic starter = 2 Points Replies to the topic starter (if someone replies to their topic in each forum) = 1 Point Students get for each post = 1 Point Log in at least once a day = 5 Points Log in at least once a week = 5 Points Log in at least once a month = 5 Points Inviting friends/Referral = 50 Points (However, this person must be sorted into their house for you to be rewarded, and they must mention that you referred them) Top point's widget to display the members with the top points. This will be shown in the sidebar. There will be a global points page to display all the recent points. Auto reset for points. Points are reset on the 1st September  
Inviting friends earns you house points!
If you recruit/recommend a member, you get 50 house points for each person you recruit/recommend joining. However, this person must be sorted for you to be rewarded, and they must mention that you referred them.

I'm looking to make some changes and do an overhaul for 2021. I'd love to hear some ideas for our students on what kind of features they'd like to see on the forums. Currently, I'm working on bringing back the house points system (I hope to have this back tonight).
Any comments, suggestions are appreciated as I'd love to incorporate your ideas into our community.

Recently the famous actor Jonny Depp has been having trouble in caourt . He has been caused of beating his wife! (Which is horrible)


Because of this he has been fingered to have been dropped from upcoming fantastic beasts and pirate of the Caribbean movies. A apparently Mads Mikkelsen will be taking on the role of Grinderwald. And it's been fingered that the upcoming pirate of the Caribbean movies will have a female lead. That lead has be rumered to be humankind and marvel star Karen Gillan! (That's gonna be interesting.
it is going to be very weird having a pirate of the Caribbean and fanatic beast movies without the actor.

Hi everyone! We all know the Harry Potter movies are great, but if you had to choose just one to get rid of, which would it be and why?

In the 1st task we know Dragons are incredibly resistant to make and in the first task Fleur Delacour did amazingly, so the fact that she was able to single-handedly enchant one into sleep was very impressive indeed.

So poor Professor Trelawney... or was she... Yes she was looked down on for her choice of teaching, but, Dumbledore knew better!
