Ashley Greene , who played Alice Cullen in the Twilight series, has recently started a podcast series exploring the twilight saga. This started back in March 15th 2022 and new episodes come out every Tuesday. Numerous co-stars appear have appeared as guests on the podcast so far including Carlisle, Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie, Mike, Aro and Charlie.    Apologies, I know this isn’t Harry Potter related per se but this seems pretty cool as both fandoms are pretty magical. Soon after the British actor found fame as the Duke of Hastings on Netflix period drama Bridgerton in late 2020.     Page hit headlines after fans spotted him in the background in the seventh film of the wizarding franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night the host asked Page if he enjoyed working on the 2010 movie and he explained why he would recommend being an extra to all buddin

This wouldn’t be the first time that HBO lost the Harry Potter films, as they had the films when they launched in May 2020 before losing them after 3 months. They got the rights back again in September 2021, but now fans will have to look elsewhere if they want to revisit the Wizarding World. If you’re wanting to do a Harry Potter marathon, you might have to add Peacock to your streaming services, because all eight movies are leaving HBO Max. The movies that will be leaving the plat

I’m sure you’ve all heard about the trial where Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation of character. The trial is taking place in Fairfax, Virginia in the United States. The jury was selected on the 11th April and we are currently 7 days into the trial. The trial is live streamed on YouTube.    How does this relate to the Wizarding World? Johnny Depp played Grindelwald in the first 2 Fantastic Beasts’ film but Warner Bros decided to recast the role for

When I first read about the boy who lived (under the stairs) I was almost 26 years old, so I didn't exactly "grow up with the Wizarding World".  My mind and soul, however, were still flexible enough to bend and stretch a little - more than a little, actually.    Since opening Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone for the first time, many years have passed and I have re-read all of the books many times, watched the movies, listened to the audio books in German and English. I made rea

On June 26, 1997, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was released in bookstores.     The Harry Potter character dates back to 1990. That year, J.K. Rowling was on a crowded train from Manchester to London when the idea for Harry suddenly "fell into her head." And so the beginning of a masterpiece was born. But first, Rowling had to drum up interest in the story.     After eight other publishers rejected Philosopher's Stone, Bloomsbury offered R

In June it will be 25 years since "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was first published. The books are sold around the world, have been translated into 80 (?) different languages and there are around 200 different cover illustrations.    I am wondering - has anyone else ever been tempted to buy yet another copy of the books, simply because the art of the cover was so beautiful? In this household we have the first English children edition with the cover art by Thomas

The Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare (S.P.E.W.) is an organisation founded by Hermione Granger in response to what she saw as gross injustice in the treatment of house-elves. Hermione Granger thought it cruel that house-elves were neither paid nor given holidays for their work, so she campaigned tirelessly for a change in their working conditions.

The Slug Club is made up of Horace Slughorn's most well-liked and sometimes famous students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Professor Slughorn, who taught Potions at Hogwarts from the 1920s-1981 and again from 1996-pre 2016, he sought students who were well connected, held fame, and/or showed true promise in some field(s) of magic. These select students were invited to parties (such as the particularly lavish one held on the 20th of December, 1996) where Professor Slughorn would then weed them out further. He was sure to keep in touch with those who "made the cut", even after they had graduated, as they would often provide him with useful information and/or various luxuries.[1]

  • What are forums and how do they work?

An Internet forum is a discussion area on a website. Website members can post discussions and read and respond to posts by other forum members. A forum can be focused on nearly any subject and a sense of an online community, or virtual community, tends to develop among forum members.

This type of forum may also be called a message board, discussion group, bulletin board, or web forum, but it differs from a blog, the name for a web log, as a blog is usually written by one user and usually only allows for the responses of others to the blog material. A forum usually allows all members to make posts and start new topics.

An Internet forum is also different from a chat room. Members in a chat room usually all chat or communicate at the same time, while members in a discussion group post messages to be read by others whenever they happen to log on. Forums also tend to be more topic-focused than chat rooms.

The separate conversations in a forum are called threads, and they are made up of member-written posts. Members can usually edit their own posts, start new topics, post in their choice of threads, and edit their profile. A profile usually lists optional information about each forum member, such as the city they are located in and their interests.

We believe this sort of community with a message board is far superior to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Your posts will never be lost, and everyone can join in our conversations.

Ok so last book. There were children and they went to Hogwarts. Jk-Rowling probably doesn't want to write another book but just 1 would be nice(but maybe more than 1 would be nice)! Just saying for the people who write fan fics out there you can jump on this chance and make the next generation!
