What are your favourite scenes in the Harry Potter films?

One of mine (as I have many) is the Mirror of Erised; probably one of the best scenes for me out of the whole series. There are a very few scenes where we get to see Harry’s parents and the emotions on Harry’s face, his longing for his parents. The way his mother Lily, looks at him, the way he stretches his hand to hold her, the way she smiles lovingly at him.

What's yours?

I like when we revealed the identity of Sirius and Wormtail and we got more revelation about the Marauders! What a plot twist

Keep an eye on your family just like Mrs. Weasley.

Sometimes fiction inspires reality—such is the case here with Bryn Dole's Weasley Family clock replica. It uses a Raspberry Pi to replicate the general functionality, going as far as to update in real-time based on your family's actual location data.
If you aren't familiar with the Harry Potter franchise, the clock is found in the home of the Weasley family. Each section of the clock represents a location rather than a point in time. There is a hand for each member of the family which moves magically into position based on where they are at a given moment. If you aren't sure where they are, you can find out in a glance using the clock.

In this project, the location information is gathered and processed using an application called Life 360. This data determines where each individual hand should dial in on the clock. Dole decided to use a grandfather clock found in a thrift store, fitted with a poster of the original clock artwork from the movie.

The clock face is divided into eight sections: Home, Work, School, Garden, Lost, In Transit, Quidditch, and Mortal Peril. Most of these are self-explanatory, with the two most puzzling options being Quidditch and Mortal Peril.
Quidditch is used to represent bicycling. It's triggered when the individual is found travelling slower than a car but faster than a running pace. Mortal Peril represents a person travelling faster than 75 mph (ca. 121 km/h).

Dole was kind enough to share plenty of details about the project and documented the complete creation process. If you want to replicate this project for yourself, that's definitely an option. Check out all the notes and source code on GitHub to get started. Be sure to follow Bryn Dole on his official website for more cool projects.

Slytherin could of Killed the origional oldest peverel hence how he was one of the greatest of his time. Also why slytherin has a large connection with dark witches and wizards. He was the middle brother and before falling to the stone took the wand from his oldest brother because he was the one that killed the woman that he loved. And when killing himself the stone was passed to his kin aswell as the wand.   the elder wand given Ended up being given away to gregorovitch as voldemorts mother was a squib when it came to her and she was trying to protect her son from people who would see him dead if found out who his real father was. So  no need of a wand. Hence why gridlewald stole it from gregorovitch and became all powerful. Hence why the trail for the wand is so easy for voldemort to follow. He knows it was in his family because he had information from snakes in which slytherin was famous for. Ther other theory for this is that before nagini permenently changed she was in actual fact the heir to slytherin and voldemorts mother. And insted of dieing transformed into the snake fully. Hence why it becomes very protective of him and ends up containing a bit of his sole. Hence why she cant look after him as a child because she Permanently was a snake. He says in flashback scene how he can talk to snakes, they whisper things. She could of been teaching and telling him things. Taught him how to use his parstletongue and how to open the chamber if secrets origionally.

      Hey guys!
      Registered to ask the experts!
I have this signed Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire movie script that was signed by the entire main cast as well as J.K. Rowling that was given to me by the son of a theater owner,
who directed many plays with-now Broadway actors and actresses.
Signatures were obtained at the Leicester Square, London UK on the 11th of June, 2005.
The script with signatures includes a certificate of authenticity issued by all ALLSTART Memorabilia.
I have absolutely no idea what it is worth and what I would ask for it.
The Script looks to be in good condition and the signatures look great .
The COA shows considerable wear from age and possibly heat/sun exposure however it is still fully readable.
What I do know, is what the framing is worth.
It was professionally framed by The Framing Warehouse in Dallas, Texas and features UV protective Museum Glass.
      The framing cost $211.xx
      Any insight is greatly appreciated.

As we know the Mr. Ollivander we are familiar with only works with three kinds of wand core, unicorn horn, dragon heart string and phoenix feather but his father worked with many other kinds.  He tells us on pottermore these cores are the most reliable, but I think varied cores would be much cooler. I for one would love a mermaid hair core wand, or a giant squid tentacle core. What about a hippogriff feather core? Or a Sphinx hair core? The possibilities are endless! I decided early on in my business to create wands with unique and personal cores like these, visit my website to check them out! You can also view my collection on instagram or facebook. What do you think? Are unique cores better?
