I spent the Pandemic writing a (long) HP FanFic

[HogwartsRevisited]

Hello!

I'm obviously a complete newbie here, but I've been a HP fan since the books started coming out when I was in elementary school.

Like many of you, likely, I have spent much of the last 2 years finding hobbies to occupy my time, as I worked from home, and lived alone in my apartment. I turned to writing, which I've always loved, and Harry Potter! I wrote a whole novel-length, thing. It's sort of non-traditional fanfiction in that it takes place 2 yeaers after book 7, and while it has loads of references back to the books/movies, it's mainly focused on new characters I made.

I've looked into posting it on the traditional fanfiction outlets, like fanfiction.net, and ao3, but maybe selfishly I don't want it to just get lost in the sea of fanfiction that's already out there, and I don't know what the best way is to share it with people who would actually care enough to read it, or at least give it a shot. I sent it to some friends but they aren't into it enough to invest the time.

The book (working title), is Hogwarts Revisited (See user name, lol).

Any ideas on how to share it with HP die hards, that might be something other than just posting in a massive database site? I would be happy to share more about the story with anyone who cares, as well. Thanks!
