I've been a massive fan of Imogen Heap since way back in 2003 when some of her tracks were featured on the TV show "The OC." Fast forward to today, and I can proudly say I'm a die-hard fan. I've been fortunate enough to witness her live performances at Shepard’s Bush and the legendary Royal Albert Hall – talk about unforgettable experiences!

 

Now, imagine my excitement when I heard that Imogen Heap, or Immi as we lovingly call her, was going to be the musical genius behind the "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" soundtrack. I immediately placed an order for "The Music of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - In Four Contemporary Suites." But here's the kicker, as soon as I pressed play and that first track started, it hit me like a lightning bolt of nostalgia (pun intended). I found myself spontaneously singing, "First train home, I've got to get on it...." It was that 'Ellipse' album classic! It was such a surreal moment that got me thinking about the possibility of more Immi gems hidden within the soundtrack. And boy, was I in for a treat!

 

I confess I haven't had the chance to attend the live play of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," but honestly, I'm kind of relieved. Knowing myself, I would've been way too easily distracted by Immi's musical magic during the performance!
