Lumos! Nine giant Harry Potter wands are being installed in St Peter’s Hill, between Millennium Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral, between October 18th and November 12th, illuminating at 6.45pm every evening.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, a magical installation of nine giant wands will illuminate between Millennium Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral. It will also help to raise awareness for J.K. Rowling’s charity, Lumos, whose mission is to end the institutionalisation of children around the world.
The installation also marks the beginning of a series of “Wizarding Wednesdays”, which will include a variety of magical activities for Harry Potter fans. Every Wednesday while the installation stands, muggles can take part in wand training and watch a spellbinding live performance of music from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films by a marching military band.
