JK Rowling revealed she’ll earn £34 million from Harry Potter franchise!

J.K. Rowling is set to receive a cheque worth £34 million from her agent Neil Blair through the company that handles her creative output earnings, The Collections Agency Limited.

From May 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, cash in company – of which the author is named ‘ultimate controlling party’ – jumped from £3.3 million to £46.5 million, primarily owing to income from books, films and merchandising.

And after deduction commissions and expenses, she’ll pocket around £34 million.
