Pascal's stance comes in response to J.K. Rowling's recent support of a UK Supreme Court ruling that legally defines "woman" and "sex" as referring exclusively to individuals born biologically female. Rowling celebrated the ruling, which has been widely criticized by LGBTQ+ advocates.
