Harry, Ron, Hermione started to search every information possible towards Philosopher's stone, if we come back to the first book. But I have doubts in the reasons why they initially decided to do so. What do you think ? It was their curiosity, their desire to save the others, or they initiated everything just because they hated Snape, they were sure he hated them and wanted to kill Harry, and so the trio wanted just a revenge against him ?
