Coming up in Reeman Dansie’s summer Fine Art sale on 28th / 29th June is a rare First Edition, First Issue, of Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone. The paperback book is estimated at £4000-6000 and was recently discovered in a charity shop, in the Colchester area. Featuring in the same auction is an original prop from the film franchise. The Gryffindor House cloak was gifted to 7 year old Alba Diaferia during a visit to the Warner Brothers film set at Leavesden (pictured below). Harry Potter props are very scarce at auction, and this rare cloak is estimated at £5000-7000, a percentage of the money raised from this sale will be gifted to Make A Wish Foundation.
