discussion Unanswered Canon Questions

Hey everyone!

 

With J.K.Rowling every so often adding to the Harry Potter canon, I wanted to know if there were any parts of the canon you wish would be expanded upon. Even the reveal about how the plumbing system came to be asks more questions than it answers - for example, how did the plumbers not question how big the pipes are? Where does the waste go? Why does it seem like the bathrooms are in the most random of places? 

 

One of the questions I want answered is: What actually constitutes under age magic and how it's reported? 

The book canon implies one thing, but the films seem to make it completely different - Just look at how many times Hermione fixes Harry's glasses outside of school time. 

Does environment have something to do with it? What about accidental magic? Is it intentional magic that makes it under age? I have so many questions about it. 

 

What are some of your unanswered canon questions that you wish would be answered? I'd love to get a discussion going about them.
