I watched this film (having not read the book) and did not see the time turner coming - all the way on the lead up with the clues of Ron saying that he had not noticed when Hermione had arrived etc and then seeing the time turner in action and it tying in little things nicely (the stones thrown though the hut, Hermione howling etc) ~ I found it extremely clever!
