    HOGWARTS IN THE SNOW - SATURDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2019 - SUNDAY 26TH JANUARY 2020

2019 will conclude with the return of the Studio Tour’s popular festive feature, Hogwarts in the Snow!

Hogwarts in the Snow tickets at Harry Potter Studio Tour still available for Christmas 2019

The festive makeover will see Christmas trees line the Great Hall, the Gryffindor common room dressed for the season and a blanket of filmmaking snow covering the majestic Hogwarts castle model. Visitors will even be able to touch samples of the different types of ‘snow’ used during production, each selected for its ability to float like falling snow, crunch under foot or glisten in the light like ice.

The ultimate Christmas event, Hogwarts in the Snow, returns to the studio this winter and, as you may expect, tickets sell out months in advance. But there are some still available including for the week before Christmas and the first week of January.

Hogwarts in the Snow is my favourite season at the Studio Tour. I get to go back with some friends who have been, and some who have never been before, in December and I'm so excited! Anyone who isn't sure whether they should go during Hogwarts in the Snow or a different season, I definitely recommend this season. I actually cried at the castle the first (and only time) I saw it in the snow.

This is the one thing I really want to go and do, we had thought about going again this xmas, but as we only went a week ago we decided to wait until the next new attraction is added.

We was down to go to the first Dinner in the Great Hall but we had to cancel. But it's something we really really want to do.

That's a completely valid reason. I've always loved the idea of the dinner in the Great Hall but cost wise, it's so expensive. Especially with my dietry requirements. I wanted to return to the tour after the Dark Arts section last year, where one of the staff hinted Gringotts to my friends and I, but I was also desperate to return to Hogwarts in the Snow. I think I've managed to get the best of both worlds with the snow and new attraction.
