Is there a universal Wizarding language?

While talking to my kids last night we got stuck on Goblet of Fire for some reason. We compared Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons and suddenly realised that languages are not part of the 

Hogwarts curriculum. The students and teachers from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons spoke English with accents according to their home countries. Does that mean they learned English? Or is there a universal Wizarding language that everybody speaks and since we experience everything through Harry we read/heard English? And if there isn’t, why the heck are languages not part of the curriculum?
