As I'm always listening to my Harry Potter Audio Books, I picked up on a crucial detail about Percy Weasley, Mr Crouch and Bertha Jorkins.

At The Burrow, Percy Weasley mentions that Bertha has been missing for over a month, having never returned from her holiday in Albania. According to Ludo Bagman, Bertha has got lost on many other occasions, and has always returned (Goblet of Fire, Chapter 5, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes). Percy continues to state that Crouch has taken a bit of an interest in it and attributes it to him being fond of her from her time working under him.

DO you think he’s concerned because she knows about his son and it’s only a Memory Charm keeping her from blabbing about it and, only took an interest because she’s a liability?
