Hi everyone,

I’m organizing a Harry Potter-themed charity networking event and I would love to get your feedback and ideas on how to make it the best experience for our 150 guests. The event will feature various faculties with different activities based on the world of Harry Potter, and I’d really appreciate your thoughts on the structure and how to improve it.

Here’s the basic idea:

Faculties:

Sports Faculty - A Quidditch game (it will be a table version, not the actual flying).
Art Faculty - Creating magic wands as a fun activity for the guests.
Herbology Faculty - A tea ceremony where guests can learn about and experience herbal remedies and the magic of herbs, just like in the world of Harry Potter.
Alchemy Faculty - A candle-making workshop with essential oils

Guests will be divided into faculties based on their interests, receiving bracelets of different colors to identify which faculty they belong to. Each group will visit their assigned faculty station and participate in the activities. They will also be able to enjoy themed food and drinks related to the Harry Potter world. The event will conclude with a quiz.

Purpose: All proceeds from the event will go towards a charity fund.

Questions I’d love to get feedback on:
Faculty names: Do you think it’s better to use the names of the faculties from the films (e.g., Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw) or to go with names that are more connected to the activities, such as “Sports,” “Art,” etc.?
Faculty Activities: Do the activities I’ve planned (Quidditch, wand-making, candle-making, tea ceremony) fit well with the theme? Would you suggest any changes or additions to make them more magical or engaging?
Event decorations: How can I decorate the faculties simply, without going overboard? Any easy ideas to tie in the Harry Potter theme without too much hassle?
Quidditch: I’m planning to make it a tabletop version of the game. Do you think that will work well for this kind of event, or should I consider something else for the sports section?
General improvements: Is there anything you would change or improve in the overall concept of the event to make it even more magical, engaging, or aligned with the Harry Potter universe?

Why I’m here:
I’m looking for input from Harry Potter fans and event organizers to make sure the event is as fun, magical, and well-organized as possible. Your feedback on the structure, activities, and overall experience would be really valuable to me!

Thank you so much in advance for your help, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas!
