Diagon Alley (Members Shop - Points System - Bank)

I'm currently trialing a new system -
 

The application will add a members shop and an advanced point system. Our members/students can earn and spend their well earned points they've gained. You'll be awarded with points for being active on our community.

 

Points Earning System (THIS HASN'T CHANGED FROM OUR OLD SYSTEM)

• New members get on signup. 5 Points
• New members get for each post. 1 Point
• Members points for new topics, replies are given in each forum. 2 Point
• The topic starter (if someone replies to their topic in each forum). 1 Point
• If you recruit/recommend a member, you get 50 house points for each person you recruit/recommend to join. However, this person must be sorted for you to be rewarded, and they must mention that you referred them.
• There will be a global points page to display all the recent points.
• Auto reset for points. Points are reset on the 1st September
• At the end of the year, the member with the most points will win a Harry Potter related prize!
• Take the points back from deleted topics or posts if the topic / post gets deleted.
• Top points widget to display the members with the top points. This will be shown in the sidebar.

 

Bonus Points

• Award bonus points based on a daily basis ( Members will need to login at least once in that time period )
• Award bonus points based on a weekly basis ( Members will need to login at least once in that time period )
• Award bonus points based on a monthly basis ( Members will need to login at least once in that time period )

 

Users Profile

• Adds a section to the users profile showing the amount of points they have and a link to donate

 

Donations

• User groups can donate their points
• Members can sell back their unwanted items at a cost of a certain % of the items priced
• Members have a choice to buy & use the item straight away or they can buy & store them in their my items inventory

 

Testing Shop Items Currently

• Change their username
• Change their member title
• Buy and Owl, Cat or Toad! (these are simply items to show off on your profile)

To Come -
Buying wands, cauldrons, and other items from Diagon Alley (these are simply items to show off on your profile)

 

Members Bank

• Members can store their points in a bank
• We charge members to deposit their points into their bank
• We award interest to members each month on their banked points (this is currently 2%)
• Members can view all their transactions in a nice and tidy pop up table
• Shows a 3D pie chart in the ACP with the points per member group
• Shows a 3D pie chart in the ACP with the current interest to pay per usergroup
• Shows a graph of the banks transactions from your selected time periods

 

Notifications

• Members will receive notifications if they have received a item from someone or a item has been generated from the ACP for them
• Members will receive notifications if they have received a donation of points with the amount of points donated and the donator
