Muggles Rejoice! Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is out today!

A few teaser trailers were released at the beginning of this year, and since then we've been more impatient than Ron waiting to find out if he's made the Quidditch team.

For those who don’t know, Hogwarts Mystery is a create-your-own-adventure sort of game where you get to personalize an avatar and send them to Hogwarts, just like you’ve always dreamed of!

Chris DeWolfe, cofounder and CEO of Jam City, says the company is so excited about the release and the responses already being given to the game.

There are so few moments where a mobile entertainment company has the chance to truly bring magic into the world, and we’ve been thrilled by the amazing response our game has already received from ‘Harry Potter’ fans everywhere. We at Jam City have been working hard to ensure that any aspiring witch or wizard can enter Hogwarts through their smartphones and tablets and begin their magical journeys.

This story is set in the 1980s, shortly after the deaths of James and Lily Potter. We don’t want to give too much away, because you’re going to want to play this game for yourself! But we can tell you that this adventure is one you don’t want to miss out on!
