The magic is back at King's Cross Station… and it’s looking more authentic than ever. HBO's upcoming Harry Potter series has just revealed the Weasley family in full costume, and fans are already buzzing.

Filming took place recently at London's iconic King's Cross Station, where the Weasley family was spotted recreating the beloved "trolley-through-the-wall" moment. This scene, where the family passes through the barrier at Platform 9¾ to board the Hogwarts Express, is one of the most unforgettable moments from the series.

In the new footage, we see:

  • Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley

  • Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley

  • Tristan and Gabriel Harland as Fred and George Weasley

  • Gracie Cochrane as Ginny Weasley

These actors bring the Weasley family to life with impressive accuracy, capturing the warmth, humor, and chaos that fans adore.

While Dominic McLaughlin, cast as Harry Potter, hasn’t been spotted on set yet, his appearance is expected soon since the King’s Cross sequence is one of the earliest scenes in the story.

The series is set to premiere on HBO in 2027, with production underway at Leavesden Studios and various London locations. With this level of detail and dedication to the source material, the adaptation promises to be a magical experience for both new viewers and long-time fans.

Stay tuned for more updates as the wizarding world continues to expand on screen…

This is basically what people looked like and dressed like in the 90s. Trust me, it matters if you want the vibe to feel right.

Here’s how the book timeline breaks down:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (1991-1992)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (1992-1993)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (1993-1994)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (1994-1995)
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (1995-1996)
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (1996-1997)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (1997-1998)

Also, little nugget for you: when Harry is dropped off on the Dursleys’ doorstep, it’s November 1, 1981. The original movies kinda missed the mark on the style like, they were fun, but not 90s authentic. This new series? Looks like they’re actually trying to stick closer to the books
