Muggle Studies is an elective class and part of the non-magical studies curriculum at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It involves the study of the history and daily lives of Muggles, and how they are able to live without magic, but instead electricity, technology and science.

Transfiguration is a branch of magic that focuses on the alteration of the form or appearance of an object, via the alteration of the object's molecular structure.[1] Transfiguration can be done to most (if not all) objects and, as with most forms of magic, it includes — but is hardly limited to — Transfiguration spells.
Classroom 4F - History of Magic

Cuthbert Binns became professor of History of Magic, he was given Classroom 4F to teach in. He filled the room with books on history, and kept a Draconifors spellbook locked in a side-room, protected with minor magical defences. After his death, it was noted by students that the most exciting parts of his lessons was when he glided through the blackboard and into the room.
