For the good of the fan! Don't cast Paapa Essiedu as Snape. In the wonderful story by the fabulous writer J.K. Rowling, Snape is represented by many physical characteristics that Paapa Essiedu does not have. I hope you make the right decision! I'm French and I love the Harry Potter universe! And don't choose another actor who has Snape's physical characteristics but not his personality!
