  1. Hey loves! Hi, I'm new to this forum, and loving looking through posts and reading people's comments on my own! I would love to get to know you all better and keep on reading these lovely posts! So a few things about me: My favorite character is Harry Potter (I have a sneaking suspicion that we be perfect for each other if I was in the Harry Potter universe haha), I love his character beyond the whole reason that he is the main character. I love how he is complicated, and is a relatable character. He is a real teenager with real situations that happen as
  2. Did no one realize that the whole plot behind the goblet of fire, and the whole mystery of who entered Harry into the Triwizard competition could have been solved if there were simply security cameras in Hogwarts? Haha, that is just a thought. The whole mystery could have been avoided that way!
  3. The Goblet of Fire is my favorite book in the series. It is when everything started to change. At the time when the movie was released I loved it, but as I grew older it’s one of my least favorite adaptation of the books. I feel like there were a lot of things missing from the movie that should have been added and a few things that should have been revealed later on. -I think the GOF would have worked well as two movies. This book had so much information. -I think Barty Crouch Jr. should not have been revealed in the beginning of the movie. -I was
  4. Discussion: Harry Potter Films - Unimportant parts you wish could've been added! So I'll start it off by not including Winky! However, we do see her and Dobby very very briefly in The Goblet Of Fire, if you're wondering where? I made a whole topic about 'Things you may have missed in the Harry Potter Films'. Winky, dear old Winky; Crouch's House elf. Important as she is, especially with Crouch Senior to the dark mark cast at the Quidditch Cup in The Goblet of Fire film, plus the whole 'drunk winky' fiasco. Of course lets not forget Horrified Hermione learning that she and
  5. What are some of your favourite scenes from Goblet of Fire? For some reason I really liked the scene where they were in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, being taught by Moody (Barty Crouch Jr.). Seeing the dragon in the first task was pretty awesome too. And of course, the Yule Ball scene where Hermione is coming down the staircase was really memorable for me. The sleeves on that dress are just everything!

  8. Small Moments in the Films You've Noticed TL;DR: Are there any small moments you've noticed rewatching the films? A lot of film teachers I've had, and other film students I've spoken to, whenever you rewatch a film you always notice something different. I had a film lecturer mention to their first year class at uni about a story I told her. I was rewatching Pan's Labyrinth for my coursework, and I noticed little motifs of the faun and the more adult themes that I hadn't noticed before. One of the students in her class said, 'I've already watched La La Land, so why do I have t
