I own/have owned a Game Boy Color, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, N64, Sega Dreamcast, GameCube, PSP, Wii, and a Switch. They're all amazing, but if I had to pick, my favorite systems would have to be Sega Dreamcast, Wii, and Switch for home consoles and PSP and 3DS for the portable ones. I've always wanted to own a PlayStation home console and I plan to buy one in the near future. 

This was again inspired by @Dumbledore's Harry Potter PC/Console Games List topic, thanks again for the inspiration! 

I created a crossword puzzle about Harry Potter and thought some of you might like it.

I was inspired by @Beeha for this with the Pokemon post (thanks again for that!) 

I personally love pokémon. My first pokémon game that I actually finished was Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, but I did play Pokémon Platinum (goes perfectly with the jubilee!) a while back, and my save data sadly got deleted and I gave up on it. 

I also finished Pokémon Legends: Arceus which is really different to most pokémon games, and while I would recommend getting it, I would get a regular pokémon game before it simply because I wouldn't want my first pokémon experience to be something that is really different to regular pokémon. 

To those of you who have never played pokémon before, which I'm assuming is most, if not all of you, has anyone ever watched an episode of pokémon. I used to watch pokémon diamond and pearl, but I remember nothing about it, it was so long ago.

To those of you who do play pokémon, which I really think is none of you, let me know what starter you had!

We have been recreating the Harry Potter world block by block for a long time now. Now, we finally release this map by DynamiskFisk, with help from the rest of the team, so that anyone can enjoy visiting their favorite places in the Harry Potter world! The map features locations such as Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, King's Cross Station, Godric's Hollow and much more!

Using apparition, as well as the floo network, through the fireplaces, you’ll instantly be able to find any and every part of the Potter universe!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): By The Floo Network (Planet Minecraft)

Hello, everyone! I would like to help everyone who has a question, but I don't have time to respond to you all. Since I am seeing a lot of the same questions asked, I'll try to answer those here:

• 1. The map doesn't show up when I download it. This is because you have extracted the world folder into a new folder. The folder in your saves folder should be called "By The Floo Network". If it is called "Harry Potter in Minecraft" instead, simply open this folder, and drag the folder inside out into the saves folder.
• 2. What is the Resource pack and the shader pack? I have made the Resource pack myself, and it's custom built for the map. If can be downloaded from the Planet Minecraft link in the description. The Shader is Sildur's Vibrant Shaders.
• 3. How do I install the map? There is a guide if you click the link in the description, which explains how to install it.
• 4. The book for teleporting around doesn't show up in my inventory. The book only shows up, if you are playing in the version 1.12 or later. The mechanism for giving the player the book in not compatible with 1.11.2 or older updates.
• 5. Is there any mods required: No. The map has been built and functions in vanilla Minecraft.
• 6. Does the map cost money? No. The map is free, though you can choose to donate.
• 7. Is it an adventure map with quests? Not yet, but I am currently working on an expanded version of the map, with quests, as well as new locations, (The rest of the ministry of magic, post-battle Hogwarts and much more!) It will also add some improvements to the locations already built
• 8. How long did it take to build the map, and how many people worked on it? We are five teenagers, four of us from Denmark and one from America, who've worked on the map on and off over a period of several years. The vast majority of the map was however built by just one person, with the rest helping with some builds and some of the technical aspects of the project.

The Reddit leaker claims to be working with publisher Warner Bros, and has let slip on some of the key components of the game.

The title of this mysterious RPG is rumoured to be Hogwarts: A Dark Legacy

As for gameplay, the players will reportedly be able to customise their characters and get to decide if they are muggle-born, pure blood or half-blood.

Your character is rumoured to be a fifth-year student who has transferred in from another wizarding school. You will also be able to be sorted into one of the four houses and each of these will have their own unique quest line. It seems the timeline plays out after Harry Potter’s children have already graduated from Hogwarts and so won’t include Harry Potter himself but there will be an appearance from various characters from the books. There will be four main areas in which gameplay takes place, although Hogwarts, Hogsmead, and The Ministry are the only ones the leaker seems to know about. The leaker “VapeThisBro” has offered us a description of gameplay, which includes some back story into the game’s mechanics.

“Set in the 19th Century Wizarding World, this third person open-world action RPG game centers around your character with unique abilities who has eared (sic) a late acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You are a newly arrived 5th year student to Hogwarts that demonstrates a latent gift for magic with a unique ability to track and identify remnants of a pottant (sic) ancient power.

Upon arrival, strange events begin to materialize In the Forbidden Forest and trouble begins o (sic) brew within the castle walls. Together with Professor Elezar Fig, you embark on a journey through both familiar and never before seen locations to bring to light the truth behind these mysterious occurrences.

On your quest you will craft potions, master new spells, and discover fantastic beasts. You will battle Dark Wizards, Goblins, and other supernatural enemies and uncover the truth about your destiny – the Fate of the Wizarding World lies in your hands.”

Apparently, there will be a nemesis system in place. Enemies can be beaten, killed, or even turned into an ally. It’s also said that the game won’t be for children, as it gets quite dark.
 

One of the more interesting aspects of the leak is that the game will feature a “nemesis” system similar to the Middle-earth series. While this system won’t involve as many characters as the Middle-earth games, it will give rise to your character’s biggest rival (think Draco Malfoy to Harry Potter). Depending on actions you take, you’ll be able to either defeat, kill, or team up with your rival by the end of the game.

It has long been rumoured that Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, which now owns the rights to JK Rowling’s much-loved wizarding franchise, has been working on a major new Harry Potter game. And despite the extensive nature of the leak, there remains some debate as to who might be developing it. VG247 reckons it is being made by ex-Disney Infinity dev Avalanche Software, whereas Gamebyte believes London studio Rocksteady, of Batman: Arkham fame, is on the case.

As for when we’ll reportedly get to see the game, Warner Bros. was supposed to reveal it at this year’s E3 before it was cancelled due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. The leak states that we’ll see a trailer and gameplay before August, with the game scheduled to launch in June 2021 on current-gen and next-gen consoles and PC.
