A few weeks back, I entered a small film-related promo online (not one of those viral giveaways, just a niche one through an official partner). I didn’t expect much… until I got an invite to a private pre-screening event.

To my surprise, Gerard Butler actually showed up.

Small group. No press. No cameras. Just him talking casually with everyone. He was surprisingly grounded — no entourage, no script, just honest convos about films, travel, and life. He even gave thoughtful advice to a guy there pursuing acting.

It felt surreal and totally unexpected. I wouldn’t have believed it myself if I hadn’t been there.

Moral of the story? Sometimes the low-key opportunities are the real ones.

Outside my kitchen window autumn is showing off right now. The leaves are rapidly changing colour. It's cold and windy with the sun rarely peeking through the clouds and it frequently rains. We even turned on the heating last night, something that we actually hoped to avoid for a few more weeks, considering how much it costs to keep warm.

 

A nice cozy common room with a fire in the hearth sounds lovely and I was wondering - independent of your chosen house and the connected pride - where in Hogwarts would you like to hang out right now? Great hall? Library? Common room? Courtyard?

Why I started my Deluxe digital version, (PC Steam), it came up with a 2 choice selection. One was to start game as normal & the other , IIRC, was something to do with the soundtrack.
